Jai, I admit I'm not following the Quizards very closely, but why did they trade Rui Hachimura? And why did they trade him to the Lakers? I now hate your team nearly as much as I hate the Lakers because they suck [again] and y'all just threw them a life preserver.

I just want some good games Sunday! I just don't want the 49'ers at all.
I saw where Eli Apple was being too smug on Twitter [actually somewhat a jerk].
And did youu see the conspiracy theorists are out in droves, stating that Damar Hamlin is really dead & that was a clone who showed up at the Bills-Bengals game over the weekend.
Do people have nothing better to do than make stuff up? Really?

I didn't see the clone conspiracy theory but I saw where the Bills' fans are complaining that Cincinnati had an unfair advantage by wearing all white uniforms in the snow. Apparently, it made their players hard for the Bills' players to see. It's funny because Joe Burrow clearly had no problem seeing where his guys were when he threw to them.

It's almost like Buffalo is always a bridesmaid, never a bride. No excuses, especially when you're playing on you own turf. I hope both games will be nailbiters!

I picked the Bengals and Niners to win today. True to my form, the Iggles are getting busy right now, so Kansas City vs Philly it is. My predictive abilities are the very worst.

I get frustrations but that was ridiculous!

Sorry Jerry. No way did I want the Niners in this thing and I have always had a visceral reaction to the Tony the Tiger helmets of Cinn. Besides, you know I like Mahomes but I heard Kelce may be out so we will have to wait and see how it plays out.

LOL! I picked them to win but that doesn't mean I want them to win. I have no dogs in these fights and couldn't care less who won. With that being said, my eldest nephew is a Bungles fan and I wouldn't be mad to see them win because of him. I was a bigger fan of Mahomes until his snobbish entitled wife began showing her knobby [butt] to the world a couple of years ago.

Not blaming Mahomes, Ms M.......just saying what they do on Twitter.

The comment by Travis Kelce after the Chiefs won [about the Cincinnati Mayor?]
And the 2 top seeds gonna go at it. It sure looks like it's gonna be a great game!!

Indeed I did. I forgot all about the "influencer" whose "influence" is based entirely on his brother's success.

Prior to Sunday's game the mayor said Mahomes should take a paternity to test to determine if Burrows was his daddy. Apparently he received a lot of flack for it and apologized. When he saw Kelce's remark he also said he deserved it.

The remark Mahomes made about not having any cigars was a dig at Cinn. because they lit cigars after beating the Bills. However, Burrows and Mahomes showed nothing but class after the game.

I like both of them. Burrows and Tua are the two most decent QBs [maybe players] in the league. My wife thinks Burrows is arrogant, but I like him because he can back up the things he says. It was a shame for them to lose the way they did yesterday; I thought that level of heartache was specifically reserved for Falcons and Dolphins fans.

With that being said, I'm now all in for the Iggles in two weeks.

Back in 2016 I went to the Steelers Fan Fest. Some of the draft picks are flown in by the Steelers to meet with fans. I'll never forget 1 of them who was very nice & friendly to me
[although I thought he looked like a deer in headlights when he met everyone...haha].
That 1 person was Javon Hargrave. I'm for him. Eagles.

Ms M, you for The Chiefs?

Yep! I only pull for the Eagles when I need them to win or I REALLY don't like the team they are playing against {aka Niners}.

I need to add, I will not be upset if the Eagles win though. I like their coach and I think Jalen Hurts is a hell of a QB. Looking forward to seeing a good game!

Haven't watched the Pro Bowl in 30 years.

Hey, does anybody remember when the NFL champ played against a team full of college all-stars? Today's agents would lose their minds if their prospective rookie clients agreed to play in that game.

Really? I remember watching it as a boy. One year, the all-stars beat the Packers. It ended in 1975, although I thought it was stopped earlier. Here's an article about it:

If the Chiefs win, Travis Kelce will be the MVP. But they're not winning and Jalen Hurts will win the award. Iggles have too many dogs on their defensive front for Mahomes to escape, especially since he has a bad wheel. I think it'll be a close game but I expect Philly to get off to a good start and have enough defense to keep the Chiefs from coming back. Chalk me up for Philly 27 and Kansas City 20.

    Eagles 34- KC 31

Bad weather tomorrow here in Tennessee. Could be rain/sleet/snow. If it's snow these southerners close up everything & hibernate!

I am at the point I don't care who takes home the trophy! I'm simply looking forward to an exciting game. So, may the best {or luckiest} team be victorious today!!

    LOL
Southerners do that because as a general rule it doesn't make financial sense for southern cities sense to put a lot of money into snow equipment. Less equipment more bad roads so....folks hibernate!

I moved to Memphis [briefly] in the mid-90s. First day there, we had an ice storm that shut the region down. Some parts of the city were still without power or safe roads nearly a week later. In Ohio, we call those types of winter events "Tuesday".

I was happy with a good game. Although KC won it was a close one. What about that holding call??

We were lucky here today. Only rain & it stopped about 2 hrs before the game. But leaving my neighbor's house the fog was so bad you could cut it with a knife!!

That holding call was horrible. Nobody would have complained had the official swallowed his flag. It was technically an infraction but that "foul" happens 20 times over the course of the game. If you're not calling it when it occurs two minutes into the first quarter of an exhibition game, you darn well have no business calling it with two minutes left in the Super Bowl.

And just a couple of days ago, Roger the Dodger was talking about how good the officiating is.

Exactly! Did anyone see the article [I saw it in the Washington Post] about ex-players who are having a hard time getting $$ for their injuries suffered while they played? And how they have sued Roger Dodger & the NFL? Great article!

Ms M, I hope you don't sail away on us until next season....:[[

And how bout that all female flyover???
