Don't look now, Jai, but the Dirty Birds and Rednecks are playing next week. Somebody's team has to win, right? And although I love ya, Bruh, I hope it ain't you.

*Welp* Just checking in on the NBA where my Sixers are struggling to find their chemistry when I saw that your guys are having a rough start as well. Dwight Howard is blowing up another team, this time by not being there after they traded Gortat. Mahinmi is a good backup but he's not a starter. I was going to wish you good luck, partner. But then I remembered they're in our division so I'm just gonna set back and hope they continue to implode. But I can't enjoy it because my team sucks butt, too.

HEY JERRY,WHAT'S UP BRO? NOW AS FOR YOUR SIXERS I AIN'T CONCERNED BECAUSE THEY WILL BE ALRIGHT AS FOR MY MISERY WHICH IS THE-NODEFENSENOCOACHINGCANTSHOOTNONPLAYIN GIZZARDS,DWIGHT HOWARD MIGHT BE LAUGHING ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK[SIGH]AS FOR OUR LITTLE GET TOGETHER ON SUNDAY IT SCARES ME TO DEATH BECAUSE WE AIN'T PLAYIN[ELI]THIS WEEK,ONE THING ABOUT YOUR BURDS IS THAT THEY CAN SCORE AND SCORE AND SCORE..did i mention that they can score?? AND I DON'T WANNA GET INTO A SHOOTOUT WITH THEM AND ALTHOUGH THE SKINS WILL SHUT DOWN THE RUN,THEY MAY NOT HAVE AN ANSWER FOR[JULIO JONES AN CO.]..THE ONLY THING THAT MIGHT SLOW EM DOWN IS THAT GREASY GRADY IS OPENING A NEW EATERY JUST OUTSIDE OF ATLANTA...WELL IT'S ACTUALLY WAY OUTSIDE..[grady's not actually allowed within the city limits]BUT IT'S A LITTLE JOINT OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD ON THE WAY TO D.C. AND HE WANTS TO FED THE TEAM ON THEIR WAY,SO STOP ON BY..HEHEHE!!!

"Shut down the run"? Wait a minute, we're allowed to run the ball? Because I don't think Coach Quinn is aware of that. It would make our offense a lot different if it wasn't all Matty Ice, all the time. SMH. I wouldn't put too much effort into stopping our run game, because sadly, that's not the issue.

If I was you, I'd be geeked out for the offensive Viagra our defense is going to provide for your boys. Going from a top 10 D to a bottom 5 is... hard for me to deal with.

Wait one daggum minnit!!! I just checked the NFL standings for the first time this year and saw that the Redskins are 5-2 and in first place in the East. I was assuming they were 1-6 and the same team as the last few years and now THAT's who we play next week?

Glad I'm not watching the games this season...

Y'all beat the Panthers, the Cowboys and the Packers. Try again.

Seriously, I haven't paid attention to the standings or scores [[beyond Atlanta and Miami) this year. I had no clue. I haven't even read up on your boys to know who's balling out.

Ruh-roh! As of this moment, Dwight Howard has returned and scored 13 points already in the first quarter against the Thunder. Almost looks like the Dwight Howard of old.

Thank you, thank you. I'll probably be watching my first Falcons game of the year when they play Cleveland. My dad is a big Cleveland fan.

Good luck tomorrow night. I think Atlanta and them Boyz play in a couple of weeks.

I can't lie and pretend that I expected us to play that well on defense. Our offense is starting to gear up to a level close to 2016. Your boys are still in the midst of something special and I have a feeling they'll come out of this better than they were going in. With that said, losing your two starting guards is difficult to overcome. I know because Atlanta is starting its backups in both guard positions right now.

That's a lot to overcome, Jai. Richardson is hurt and your receiver depth is going to be a problem.

Sorry, ms_m. What happened with Zeke? I played against him in fantasy and balled out in the first quarter but his numbers didn't seem to change after the half. I was hoping he didn't get hurt.

Thanks Jerry but sorry is truly the operative word for last night's fiasco.

The better question is, what has happened to the Boyz period. They out and out sucked with the exception of the first few minutes of the game.

I'm ride or die to the end but last night was atrocious...offense, defense, a QB who I was beginning to think had a concussion, bad coaching...

Take you best shot Jai...whatever you say we deserve!

Personally, I think Jerry should be more of an owner and less of a GM. He's so involved that he won't let better qualified people make the football decisions. Don't get me wrong, I have no doubt that he is surrounded by the best minds. But football is not his only business, so maybe he should let someone who has made it their only business take care of the day-to-day stuff. I just hope y'all don't figure it out before we play in a couple weeks...

I agree Jerry. JJ is too caught up in his personal feelings [[and ego) to be objective.
As far as self correcting before we play your guys or anyone else, it would be a pleasant and welcome surprise but...que sera sera.

And... A loss to the Browns just about sticks a fork in the season for your Atlanta Falcons. Thanks for participating. With a healthy team, we're gonna beast in 2019. Hopefully, I'm around for it.

It's not life, it's a game. I was watching it with my dad and uncle, who are both Browns fans. Since I only watch what's on when I'm over the folks' house, it was the only time I'm likely to see the Birds this year. Maybe I cursed them with my presence? Serves me right.

Looking forward to seeing how Amari does for you guys, ms_m. He's a younger and hungrier player than Dez was. Speaking of which, it's too bad what happened to Dez the other day. I think he might be done with the NFL.

I really feel bad for Dez. Saints gave him a shout [[via an "X")
Bell to be a no show Tuesday but is all over Twitter/Snapchat. Very torn on his issues. In the meantime I can hope James Conner is out of concussion protocol & tears it up against the Jags.
    Jerry, never would've thought.......the Browns?

I know, right. You may not agree with me, but Leveon played his situation perfectly. He's going into 2019 free agency with no tread worn on his tires. The only way it backfires is if Conner sustains a career ending injury [[which I pray doesn't happen because his is a great story). Even then, there's not way Pittsburgh is putting one-year $20+ million franchise offer in front of Bell unless it's out of spite.

It's better that they all go their separate ways. Them with Conner in their backfield; him with a bag of weed in his back pocket. Call it a win-win for the way that it worked out.

LOL Jerry! He may have no tread worn but he will be a year older. And look at Dez with being out for a while....as well as [[is it Earl Thomas?) Bell has already had an ACL repair.
How bout the Saints signing Brandon Marshall?
Ms M.....I had to watch your game from yesterday before I commented.......nice game!!

I didn't see the game and I'm not going to watch the painful highlights to see how we blew it. Falcons Nation is burning as we speak and I don't need the negativity today. But with that said, I have a couple questions for you:

    1. I heard that Alex Smith had Joe Montana's brains [[even though he doesn't have his arm). Is it true that he now has Joe Theismann's leg?

    and

    2. Did the Quizzards seriously think that essentially trading Marcin Gortat out for Dwight [[My Bootie Hurts) Howard was going to be a good move? Ay caramba... Who in heck is your GM?

Yes, Jerry..........Alex Smith now has Joe Theisman's leg......They signed Mark Sanchez to back up Colt McCoy......I really feel for him!

R&B.....guess Jalen Ramsey wasn't too keen on staying around to congratulate any of the Steelers [[after 4 quarters of taunting Big Ben)......OH WELL!!

I finally saw the entire game and if it's any consolation Jerry, you started out well. shrugs.

Zeke was a beast and I have to give another shout out to Vander Esh!!!!

Jai skipping ahead I'm much more concerned [[down right terrified) with the Saints than I am of you guys although, catch Colt on a really good day and he's not half bad. teehee

Meh. Birds are going to beat the Stains on Thursday night. Deion Jones takes pleasure in beating his hometown squad and he should be back for the holiday. And I feel as sorry for the Rednecks being stuck with McCoy and Sanchez as I felt for my Dolphins last season when they signed Jay Cutler over Colin Kaepernick. Not getting political again, just don't appreciate teams pulling dregs off the scrap heap when somebody else actually gives their fans a chance to see the team win.

You probably didn't watch the Falcons/Stains game where New Orleans came back to tie the game and beat us in overtime. Our games always play out like that. I stand by my post.

    HAHAHAHAHA...Which post?

The one where you say the Birds will win or the one where the Saints rally and kick your butt? LOL

    Dude, the Saints are 9-1.

Whatever happens, Turkey Day will make for really good football.
