Both. If you watched the "debate" last night, you heard Trump say that in his world "law and order" would prevail. What's law and order? Being able to stop anybody on the street, detain him, and frisk him to see if he's breaking a law. Typically, stop and frisk is not done in the suburbs, just like drug sniffing dogs don't sniff all of those drugs in suburban cars and high school lockers.

Nope. They concentrate on Black men and although the rates of finding things is the same as with Whites, by checking us eight times more frequently means that we get arrested eight times as much. And that is why we have nearly as many people in prison as the overlords even though there are four times more of them in the population.

Of course, that can then be spinned into suggesting that Black people commit more criminal acts, so stopping and frisking us is justified. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. When ever you hear statistics about incarceration rates, ask yourself two questions:
1. Who is being investigated? Lord know that if they focused on Wall Street, things would balance out quickly. But they pop low level brothers [[most of whom deserve to be popped, but not all) instead of more influential and wealthy crooks because the latter can afford attorneys capable of getting them out of charges.
2. Where's the money? If there is ever an injustice and something seems "off", you can always trace it back to loot. Private prisons. Civil asset forfeitures [[Google that one). Preserving property values. It ALWAYS links back to money and there's a lot of loot to be made off of putting a third of us into jail when barely a fifth of us can go to college.
