What are some of your favorite double-sided-hit 45s?

Not necessarily a 45 where both sides charted, but 45s in which you enjoyed both sides.

    Some of mine:

That's What Love is Made Of/Would I Love You - Miracles
    I Want You Back/Who's Lovin' You - Jackson 5
Ain't Too Proud to Beg/You'll Lose a Precious Love - Temptations
Beauty's Only Skin Deep/You're Not An Ordinary Girl - Temptations
Love Is Here and Now You're Gone/Ain't No Stopping Us Now - Supremes
7 Rooms of Gloom/I'll Turn to Stone - Four Tops
I Heard it Through the Grapevine/It's Time to Go Now - Gladys Knight and the Pips
    He's a Good Guy/Goddess of Love - Marvelettes
    Uptight/Purple Raindrops - Stevie Wonder

As a side note: There was a recent youtube vid a while back featuring Martha singing "Knocking" with minimal music. Did real good job - so much expression in her voice.

I cannot find it anymore. Martha's delivery on songs like that can't be beat. But understandable though that Heat Wave was the hit side!!!

I agree with the post regarding Reflections and Going Down For The Third Time but I didn't know the b side was a hit.
so I will nominate Stoned Love with Shine On Me

Also MJ's "Got to Be There"/"Maria [[You Were the Only One)." This is a case where, IMHO, the b-side possibly outshines the a-side.

    roverab and mrsoul:

Two amazing choices. Would also agree with 7 Rooms/Stone. And how about Destination Anywhere which I think had What's Easy for Two is Hard for One as its B side, didn't it?

Let's not forget the Marvelous Marvelettes.

    Beechwood 4-5789/Someday, Someway
    Forever/Locking Up My Heart

Forever was always a high in demand song in the Harrisburg/York, PA listening area. It was the most favored Marvelettes song on the Rock 180 Oldies Show on Saturday for months.

Motown 45's were ALWAYS a greater value than most record companies releases in the 60's.Mary Wells B sides could all have been A sides, the ones that really stand out are "Two Lovers"/"Operator", "Your Old Standby"/"What Love Has Joined Together" and ofcourse "You Lost the Sweetest Boy"/"Whats Easy for Two". You always knew you were getting your moneys worth when you bought a Motown 45.
