She was very nice to me. I met her at the Motorcity Records convention in Detroit in 1990. She signed my autograph book with a lipstick print!

Many years later, while posting on a music site, I mentioned that she had received a Silver Disk award for FOOTSTEPS... on the Joan Rivers Show. Right after that, I received an email from her thanking me for the mentioning. It happened more than once.
