Come See About Me - Supremes vs. Nella Dodds

The very latest installment from the Diana Ross Project.

To be honest, I never heard about this nor have I ever heard the "other"
    Wand version. Has anyone?

I listened to Nella's version a while back. I think I found it on YouTube.

I have the CD. It's 'OK'....but, the Supremes version is much better in my estimation. I think I only listened to this CD once. I need to bring it out again and see what I think now.

I think Nella's version was on SD awhile ago. In fact her name was often confused as a group name.. The Nelladodds!

That's funny LOL! The Supremes have the best and only version I like.

That's who Mary Wilson described it in Dream Girls...if I recall correctly

I like Nella Dodds version. I don't care if it wasn't a big hit or even have the heavy thump of the
Funk Brothers behind it. I also really like Jr Walker's cover from his Home Cookin' release...

Many think that this is the original but as the article says, it was on the Where Did Our Love Go album first and Motown rush released it after Nella Dodd released her version.

History repeated itself a decade later when the 5th Dimension released Love Hangover , which was on Diana's album. Even though Diana had a recently released single, they rush released Love Hangover and the rest is history.
