    Legendary guitarist Scotty Moore passes

He played with Elvis Presley's band, along with D.J. Fontana and Bill Black. Along with Chuck Berry, whose style would surface after Elvis came on the scene, they taught a lot of young guitar players how to play Rock and Roll. Rest in peace, dude. You did well.

Many of the great and TRUE musicians are leaving us. Without Scotty's guitar pickings, there may not have been an "Elvis Presley" as big as he became. Rest in peace Scotty and thanks man.

Scotty was well ahead of his time as a guitarist and his early guitar parts still sound timeless today.
