Donald Trump is now the leader of the Republican Party. It's real – he is one step away from the White House. Here's what else is real:
Trump has built his campaign on racism, sexism, and xenophobia. There's more enthusiasm for him among leaders of the KKK than leaders of the political party he now controls.

What happens next will test the character for all of us – Republican, Democrat, and Independent. It will determine whether we move forward as one nation or splinter at the hands of one man's narcissism and divisiveness. I know which side I'm on, and I’m going to fight my heart out to make sure Donald Trump’s toxic stew of hatred and insecurity never reaches the White House.

Thanks, Roberta. I was telling people that the longer he remained in the race, the worst it would be for the GOP's chances to capture the presidency. I never really thought that he'd make it as far as the nomination, though. He's brought out the worst in this country and world leaders and the press are already looking at us side-eyed, as if wondering if we're all out of our minds to have him one vote away from being the most powerful man in the world. And they're right to be seeing it as such.

What do you mean there will be riots if the Trump wins? He has pretty much won the Republican nomination? If they take it from him at the convention in Cleveland, there will be riots.

It won't file civil rights charges when local prosecutors allow crimes to go uncharged for subjective reasons.

People are already fed up. What do you think will happen when cops double down on abuse and every city is like Cleveland, Baltimore, Chicago, and Ferguson? Yes, there will be riots and worse.
