Nice one. Prince certainly came up with some memorable funk for A6 [["Blue Limousine" and "A Million Miles", among others). He didn't spend any time trying to get the vocal harmony or interplay up to the level of the music. The lead vocal here is demo quality at best and completely lacking dynamism, no offense to Miss Bennett as I'm sure she was given 20 mins of studio time and sang as instructed. But for the workings of the Prince factory these songs could have been among the best of his "Purple Rain"-era catalog.
