Somewhere I have a bootleg of this; others I'm sure do as well. If the track list isn't posted later today, I'll dig it up.
If memory serves me right "Red Hot" was included, as well as a Supremes medley where Mary only sings her background parts, much to the delight of the audience. I think she show ends with "Someday" with Mary duetting with Diana.
I would love to know the track list for this night.
I think I remember reading the song list somewhere. Red Hot and Diana joining in on Soemeday is all I can remember.
I believe there was a picture in Billboard referring to Red Hot!
Oh well I was hoping for something Like " Can't Take My Eyes Off You".
I found a sheet a paper in some old boxes. Now if I could only find the tape.

I saw the entire show on film. That's all I can say. It was very lively.
Marv that sounds mysterious !
Yeah, there was nothing controversy, or secretive or anything unmentionable. I even remember Mary at this pint telling Diana to give her some of the glitter that she had on. This would have been a good live album for Mary if they had recorded it.
I would sell my left kidney to hear this show!
Mary came out very energetic and went into one song after another. She was so energetic, they stopped for her change dresses LOL! The backing singers and band were out of range so that Mary alone held the spotlight.
When she did the Supremes Medley, she sang all of her background parts and did ALL of the original choreography that they use to do. Amazing!

Didn't she have Diana sing lead on Someday and she did background?
A couple of more shots from that night:

I knew four Supremes -
Only 2 shown here.
Did Diana ever crack a smile that night??
Oh is that why she looked so miserable!?

As I recall I think Mary said Diana came to see her backstage and was supportive.
First let me say that I am a fan of Mary Wilson and love her work. With that said, this would not have made a good live album. I have it on cd and the version that I have is not a good representation of Mary, And it's the same show from the picture above because Mary reference Diana Ross several times.
Yes Mary's live Jazz CD "Up Close" from 2007 shows her at her best. Superb!

The DVD of her "Up Close" Show is also excellent:

I remember seeing a good review of the show.
Diana sat in the audience and baby sat Mary's daughter. Hardly sounds like any bad feelings towards Mary on Diana's part as too often reported on this forum by some members! Looks like Diana was giving her full support towards her former band mate. When was this concert by the way?
my concern is that her show was VERY similar to the show she was doing with Scherrie and Susaye. yes she did include two of her numbers from her debut album. but I can't say that she was particularly original or "breaking ground" with this show. Even her solo numbers from the Sups days are still here. more thought should have been put into finding material and content to help her grow and try new things
I remember that a show. Is that when she sang the backing parts to Baby Love and Where Did Our Love Go?
Btw they way I have another show that Mary did with Karen Jackson and Karen Hagland and I tell you she was on point. It was a Supreme show around 1979 so I'm thinking it was before the debut show. This show included "I'm Gonna Let My Heart Do The Walking" with Karen Jackson on lead. Mary handled the lead very [[well) on all but 2 songs. Her set included Stoned Love, Let Yourself Go, Don't Let My Teardrops Bother You, Your'e Whats Missing, The Happening, Love Is Here and Now You're Gone, Your' My Driving Wheel and her standard solo numbers a the time. It was a good show imo.

There's a you tube video of the three of them that could be from that show.
It was 1981 and they sang a Diana led stop in name of love and then floy joy
No, Rod_rick was referring to show when Kaaren Ragland was performing with Mary along with Karen Jackson which would have been in 1977-78. The clip you are referring to was done in Germany for a tv show. Mary was backed by Karen Jackson and Deborah Crofton at that time, 1981.

Oh ok. Thanks
Jean Terrell had her solo debut the year before in 1978, but received far less fanfare.
