    Lola Falana & Motown........What Happpened?

I remember somewhere around the late 70s , early 80s Lola Falana was signed to Motown Records. I also recalled seeing lots of pictures of her with Berry Gordy in Jet Magazine back then. What happened? Did they ever release anything on her? She was MAJOR talented.

Lola has MS. She did well with it and was even in remission. But she had a severe relapse in the eighties that left her partially paralyzed and partially blind and her hearing and speech was also impaired.

I recently lost my sister to the disease. I remember how well Lola was doing during her remission and wished that my sister could have done the same.

But then Lola had the severe relapse. It is sad to watch the disease progress and change a vibrant person.

Annette Funicello also had the disease.

That's terrible. Sorry about your sister Milven. My cousin's wife Mary has had it for about 22 years now but it has not progressed to the point where she cannot work or be otherwise active. Lola was great an especially great dancer.
