Darlene Love on LATE NIGHT tomorrow night Mon Oct 12th

I thought we may have seen the last of Darlene on Late Night after Letterman retired, but Darlene will be on Late Night tomorrow night.

I guess it is asking too much to hope that Steven carries on Dave's tradition of having Darlene sing her Christmas classic on his show during the holiday season.

Darlene said she will never sing it again on TV.

She just killed it last night. Why is her voice so good at 73 or 74 and many others aren't?

I agree, Luke. Outstanding performance.

she never had to work in those smoky night clubs and never did one nighters or toured a lot. She didn't have to work her voice a lot and I never saw her smoke which is the downfall of a lot of my fave singers. She also is blessed with good genes. I don't think she "partied" a lot either.

Thanks motony...makes sense. I believe i also read that she rests her voice a lot by not talking for periods of time.
