Thanks for playing the Barbara McNair. Pure Motown magic.

Anyone having trouble staying connected to the show? I've probably heard 15 mins. [[all- total) airtime since the show came on. Keep losing the TuneIn connection.
Anyway, not that I'll be able to hear it, but folks might enjoy hearing Jimmy Ruffin's BABY, I'VE GOT IT. One of my favorite Andantes' back-ups. Classic Andantes, actually.
And don't forget that an early version of "Midnight Johnny" by Liz Lands is to be included on Motown Girls 2.... and "Mr. Pride and Mr. Gloom" by Connie Haines.
Or let me put it this way: Don't play it and I'm doin' another promo!!
Johnny no u just didn't spin Now the Biter Now the Sweet, with Jean Mary Cindy in their greatest vocal readings with the the Andantes behind them wow, you know what I like, that Floy Joy album was off the hook. Cindy should have been on the cover. Thank You Maestro of music..
Can't wait to hear Connie Haines' "Mr Pride and Mr Gloom" from the upcoming "Love and Affection" CD.
No problem at all here; the link Johnny posted took me directly to the station and not to Facebook as it did the previous 2 weeks.
High Energy is one of the greatest Supremes vocal tracks hit or not, Susaye was fantastic. That album was the last great supremes album.
No you won't. You want to mention Cindy & High Energy
That definitely wasn't recorded on the day that Jean brought in the note from her doctor asking that she not have to sing anything higher than a high c.
No, I'm not that partial to salami.
No, Carole, what I meant was this:
Attachment 10040
How about another Martha A& S "It Ain't Like That"
The second worst Motown single ever...
Not the Sugar & Spice album.. Black Magic
So how 'bout playing one of the best--by Jimmy Ruffin with The Andantes/BABY, I'VE GOT IT [[B-side of BROKEN HEARTED)? Or did I hear someone say "Another promo!"?

Or maybe Marvin's rare gem: WHEN I HAD YOUR LOVE [[B-side of ONE MORE HEARTACHE) that was really an A-side in waiting.
[[Oh, gosh, I feel a promo comin' on. Where's that photo of Irene Ryan?)
Many, many thanks, John, for playing Jimmy. Just love everything about that recording.
Oh, my, you played Marvin, too! How nice. Glad you liked it, John. Loved hearing it on the radio. A real rush.
Luv ya!!!!
It's almost time to split..I sure hope that i'll be able to get up again. Gymnastic years far behind me.
These RTR shows are just too good, John. Thanks again for playing the requests [[my connection improved the last half hour and I got to hear them). A great, fun show.
Great Irene shots, Carole.
I could have stayed up for another three hours right now, but I guess I'll have to wait till next week. Thanks.
