    The Supreme Linda Carr

No, not another woman claiming to be a Supreme; just a great Northern Soul artist tackling the songbook, with very pleasant results.

She had a sizeable UK hit around 76/77 with a great little tune called "highwire" which i still have on 7" vinyl. She could, and should have gone on to have a successful career.

I did not care for that and from the looks of things, nor did the audience. She reminds me of the Shantel Baker of the 60s! LOL!!!!

I'd say it is pretty hard to imitate Diane's hair, shoulders, and eyes. If you are gonna do it, do it right.

Wasn't there a Linda Carr associated with James Brown at one time?

I'm not sure. I've heard of her before though.
