You've done it again, mysterysinger -- another great find! I especially like "I Wonder Why". Kinda makes ya want 'em all, doesn't it! Every unreleased title on the above list. Maybe one day, we'll have them!

I have a hunch that they will be released one day, and hopefully on CD. Now all we need is 25,000 people to pledge to buy a copy lol.

Tape research is currently on-going and library manager Andy Skurow is preparing transfers to Bob Gaudio and Snapper Records for a LEGACY Box set.

More details at our blog and the on-going research....

The piece mentioned my fave, "Beggin'" from their "early years." Was that recorded at Studio A?

Thanks, mystery. I enjoyed that. I'm still disappointed that Motown let "Love Isn't Here Like It Used To Be" die on the vine. There was a wealth of Motown magic contained within that record, and Frankie was singin' his heart out. Such a waste!

Yes Love Isn't Here would feature in my top fave Motown tracks of all time and I think I'd put their version of "Life and Breath" up there too.

"Beggin' " is a fine track but pre-dates their Motown period by a few years.

Yes, "Beggin'" was one of their Philips releases. It was nativeNY63 [[above) who was asking about it.
