    Yeah those 1970s Motown recordings and from what I heard on the "Gold" set, she was definitely ahead of her game vocally during that time.

    Another great find, Meth2. Thanks! I sure do miss seeing The Vandellas on stage backing up Martha, though. After the '60s glory years, it's hard to think of Martha without 'em.

    Agreed. Her voice had matured nicely and it is a crying shame she wasn't given sufficient opportunity to showcase this.

    Martha was and is a very beautiful lady. The Rest of my Life sessions caught her in amazing voice as well. It's a classic - but I hadn't seen this artwork before!!
