Which Chiffons?

Never heard or seen this group......does anyone know anything about them?

Never heard of them til now. But in the comments under this video one poster asked why they called themselves the Chiffons when there was already a group by that name in the states. One of these Chiffons responded to the comment.

We called ourselves the 'Chiffons' because most of our costumes were made of Chiffon.
We were formed in 1969 where as the American group were formed in the early 60's.

Why would you want the same name as an already famous hit-making group? That's ridiculous!

Exploitation. Not right. They need their own name not someone else's.
Listening to the video [[and not long) I can see why they never had any success, they can't sing.
