Question Did Lynda Laurence ever sang lead with The Supremes on TV?

Hey Guys... Did Lynda ever sang lead when she was with The Supremes on TV?

I've saw every Supremes sing lead on TV, but i never saw Lynda sing at least a phrase... Except that audio from that show on Hawaii, when she sang Stoned Love...

Florence sang a part of Eight Days a Week on Shindig on 1965

Mary sang Can't Take My Eyes Off You at The Hollywood Palace in 1969

Cindy sang some parts of Floy Joy on Merv Griffin, Everybodys Got The Right To Love on Glenn Campbell Good Time Hour in 1970

Diana and Jean of course sang lead on the majority of the performances

Scherrie also got her chane singing lead on some Tv Appearances

And Susaye sang Come In To My Life on Soul Train, and High Energy on The Montreux Casino their televised show in 1976

Barbara never appeared on Tv but we can hear her, on The Boy That Got Away

Would be nice hear Lynda too

Lynda Laurence sang part of a lead once that I recalled. She sang a partial lead on "Touch" on the "Model of the Year Special" on CBS in 1973 Mary Wilson has song many leads with the Supremes on television.

so there you have all of the supremes from 1962 up to 1977 sang a lead on tv including Lynda. I also think Flo lead the leads on the Sammy davis special when they did their medley of the Andrew sisters tunes.

Not whilst at Motown, there's a lovely version of Sukiyaki featuring Lynda, Scherrie and Sundray Tucker on Youtube, that is worth checking out

I have that performance and she is absolutely brilliant on it. When people say she wasn't a true vocalist or wasn't "developed talent" I always go back to that specific performance in my mind. It is a true delight to watch and hear.

Let me ask, were you talking lead parts in a song, or doing a full lead on tv? Technically Flo, Cindy and Lynda never did a full lead on tv. That Sammy Davis performance you were talking about, Flo was the lead harmony but not the lead vocalist in that medley

This is a bit off-topic now, but this really points out how Cindy was always there when needed: to fill in for and then replace Florence; then to return, pregnant, to help Mary and Lynda out when Jean suddenly took sick [[otherwise they'd almost certainly have had to cancel those gigs); later still to come back and again help Mary out when both Jean and Lynda flew the coop — only to be summarily dismissed by Pedro [[as I understand it); and yet she's not had one bad thing to say about anybody.

I've seen negative things said about many of the Supremes, but I have never heard anyone say anything negative about Cindy.

AND, I have never heard Cindy dissing any of the Supremes. Quite classy
