Victoria Beckham? Yes, in public, her default expression is indeed a rather studied 'blank' canvas, leaving an unfortunate impression on anyone witnessing it.

Supporters of her will say Victoria has no need at all to feel she should simply smile on demand [[but how does that then place the rest of us, I wonder...?) but I feel VB uses her lack of expression simply as a method of self-protection, probably borne of insecurity.

She comes over as a nice lady in interviews, but is certainly no 'larger-than-life' personality....and I suspect she knows that, and is a little sensitive about it.
