And then there are those slight differences between 'parentheses' and 'brackets' in British English [which I generally use], when compared with the same punctuation marks in American English.

Currently made even more complicated on the forum, where it seems we still need to always use the 'square' instead of 'round' type, while the problem in the software continues.....

As a result, so much simpler for me to blame Fumbelina, who thinks syntax is just an unfair charge for improper behaviour....

Note: I edited my comment to brackets replacing parentheses. Mysteriously, old, old posts with parentheses were also corrupted, sadly -- even cut and pasted quotes that
had parentheses. We could all just agree to ignore the corruption. Some already do.

Some of my Google Doodles are described in British English, once-in-awhile there is comment in foreign language in another alphabet, just for diversion.
