On September 8, 2015, "You Don't Own Me: The Life And Times Of Lesley Gore" by Trevor Tolliver will be released. [I'm currently on vacation, visiting family in western New York state. Unfortunately, without my PC, I'm unable to provide the Amazon [[U.S.) link. Perhaps one of you Motown/Lesley Gore fans could provide that for me?]

The hard-cover book promises to include behind-the-scenes details of Lesley's recording sessions as well as her personal life. The black-and-white photo chosen for the book's front cover is gorgeous -- one of the most flattering facial pictures of Lesley I've ever seen, as was the cover of her "Someplace Else Now" Motown album.

Now I see I could have got the book AND California Nights together from Amazon..........and instead I'm getting the CD from England! Oh well.
