Ben Powers actually passed a few weeks ago on April the 6th. A lot of deaths happening. Plus cardinal Francis George today as well.

Sad news. He only had one monster hit, but 'Just Got Paid' is one of the iconic hits of the '80s and was a great collaboration between him and Teddy Riley. My prayers are offered for his family.

The death of Richard Anthony was also recently announced - he died on 20 April 2015. He had one single released on VIP during the 1960s.

I often wondered what happened to Ben Powers after Good Times. Apparently, he became disenchanted with Hollywood.
