I love her but I was afraid this would be the case and not the "special set of hits" promised for this run of shows. Now maybe more details will emerge about the actual song list or the song list itself will change over the nine dates but I'm not holding my breath...still, I'm sure it's a terrific show and everyone will be very glad they went...What followed was the tried and true hit parade she’s been known to deliver in recent years.
Reviews don't get any better than this! [[By Robin Leach)

And another great review for Miss Diane Ross.

Great quote: "... a testament to both Ross' indelible contribution to the American Songbook and the sturdiness of the crafted pop numbers of the Motown machine."
Thanks for posting, "JR"!
I'm quite surprised Diana doesn't do more Vegas shows. She's proven how she easily can sell out Vegas casinos in the past... and I mean why didn't she do more during the autumn years of her career but I see she's kinda making up for that. Great performers never stop being great performers.
You just can't buy this kind of publicity. The Boss is killing in Vegas. Thanks to all for the links!

Looks like Good Morning Heartache is in the show; and Reach Out and Touch; Come See About Me; More Today Than Yesterday; Endless Love.
So there is some variation show to show.
This would surprise me if I hadn't snuck into a 1979 sound check when there were issures with light & sound cues plus light placement issues. It took a while to get things correct and there was disagreements, but she was always professional and nice about it - even wen she spotted us and asked what we were doing there, she was nice and chatted with us. Too bad garbage bags need to make a living peddling refuse..........
