    Question The Supremes Gowns

    From what i know... At least 8 pairs of dresses of the Supremes were burned in a fire in Mexico in 1974 as:


    The dresses of the last appearance of Diana Ross and The Supremes on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1969

    Don't know what happened to these; although they were fine for outdoors, they never would have worked on-stage:

    I think they were on the set of Tarzan costumes, or just were rented

    Perhaps you missed it; there are several threads on this exact same topic. One very recently with pictures of every dress that was burned in this catastophe.

    I think if you use the "search" feature, you'll come across one of 1,000 threads dedicated to the Supremes dresses.
