I am sorry to read this. I lost my father two years ago, and know what he must be feeling. All my best to T.J. and his family.

    Dear T.J.,
I am sorry to hear of Dinky's problems with cancer and recent passing.
He came to see Jimmy when we did a show in Pittsburgh at the Manchester Guild several years ago. At that time he explained to Jimmy why he felt his father was such a tyrant and told him his brother Butch [[I think was his name) sold all the records as well as the Savoy company.
Jimmy was always very fond of Dinky, he took Dink on gigs with him when Dink was still a teenager including a television show that Jimmy appeared on.
Jimmy will welcome him into heaven. Jimmy always had a kind and giving open heart. Your Dad did too.
May Dinky rest in peace. You have my deepest sympathies. For I know what you will go through having lost Jimmy this past year too.
God Bless you and your family.

    Sincerely,
    Jeanie Scott
