Great job Stone Diamond! The scans are so clear and the covers look to be in VG to Mint condition. Thanks for sharing these.

Do you mind if I add them to the AlbumArtExchange website?
    http://www.albumartexchange.com/

UPDATE: I cleaned up and added "Marvin Gaye and his girls" and "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" to the archives. I gave you credit in the comment portion under the cover. I couldn't use the others because one needed too much work, and the other one was too blurry. I could do it myself, but i'm not motivated enough these days. And, i'd rather see your work up there because you leave the label logos in, something most of the other restoration artists don't like to do. I like the record label logos on the cover.

You should join and add your work. They want everything! There is a relative lack of R&B covers there, so, if you look at my contributions so far, i've added several.

If you do decide to join up [[it's free), it is a professional site, and they want the best possible work. Some of that work is absolutely amazing. Stunning! The most amazing one I have seen there is the movie cover for Leonardo DeCaprio film "The Great Gatsby" [[ I have 3D enabled on my video card). But, the idea is that even professionals could use the covers. They want images that anyone could just grab and use as-is. If you do have something you feel needs work, submit the largest one you have up to 1500x1500, and mark it as needing work. perhaps someone will come along and fix it. Not everything there is perfect, as you could see. They don't really like duplicates unless your work is substantially superior, or different than what's there.

I've decided that the scanner isn't working for me, so I am going to look into digital cameras like some of the other contributors use, short of going to Kinkos.

Off subject, but will you be doing another one of your collections like the one for the early 80s?

No. I haven't had any ideas. But, when i'm in the mood, i'll continue with my year-by-year comps. I'm done with all but 1961, and need to move forward from 1990.

My current project has been to get everything in my digital collection properly tagged with artwork once and for all. I'm half-way there.
