Later Sylvers music ... great stuff, should've done better

I like their pop/bubble gum stuff, but they had a couple albums that were pretty soulful and funky. Like the title track from the "Bizarre" album. This is a great tune:

Watch the "Unsung" episode and you'll see why things fell apart. Greedy/no good manager took all their money and didn't promote the group, pretty ridiculous stuff.

Too bad their later work went unnoticed.

Another great one, "I'm Getting Over" -- Leon produced, SOLAR sounding. Should've hung onto Leon for dear life.

tsull1, never heard these songs before but they sound great. I agree Leon could have taken them to heights unknown. Sad that they let an outsider talk them into getting rid of the greatest thing that they had.
