    Motown Chartbusters Volume 3.

    A classic UK-only compilation.

    The original sleeve is fab.

More recent re-issues have used a pale imitation of the original design.

Best seen in its original 12" format - catalogue number TML 11121 or STML 11121

Same image used wisely for All That Glittered My Life With The Supremes - very iconic, and easily identified.

Yes indeed - an iconic album cover.

I must include this one as it's my absolute favourite picture of Diana Ross:-

Did anyone ever hear Irene Ryan and Scatman Cruthers?

The Syreeta cover is really good. Nomis made some good choices too.

My Guy - Mary Wells, which was described at the itme of issue as "The Black Mona Lisa" here in Britain
    and
Heat Wave - Martha & the Vandellas. Martha said that the group went into the studio for that photo which was taken against a plain background and the next time they saw it, they were surrounded by those flames, licking all around them.

TWO LOVERS lp by Mary Wells--great cover!

  37. #37
This is my favourite - my first Miracles' album - I knew next to nothing about them at the time but I loved that cover. The combination of the yellow and red background, like a
poster for a holiday somewhere warm when I was in the depths of a Scottish winter - and those ethereal live shots had a dream-like quality about them, I'd look at that cover for hours just
imagining what the group were like "live".
