IN the immediate aftermath of major shootings there are plenty of people out there demanding gun control legislation, but by and large they fade away and go back to their lives. Hard core, committed Gun control advocates, so far, are just not as numerous as Gun proponents. Former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg is funding pro gun control candidates for primary runs. Until voters come out to vote out those who toe the NRA line, then we're not going to see any change. If Sandy Hook couldn't get some gun control legislation passed, nothing will unless enough politicians fear they may lose their jobs.
