Howdy, "Nightflight" Listeners! Again, I put TCMS collection on hold for another week for a very special show. Tonight...LIVE from the West Coast...Susaye Greene and Scherrie Payne!!! Susaye and Scherrie have been on "Nightflight" numerous times. As a matter of fact, the only person who has been on the show more than they have is Andy Skurow! It's always a pleasure to chat with them. We will be focusing on their recent Motown Japan cd release "Partners" and their upcoming live performance in July. And you will have an opportunity to ask them questions if you care to...just post your queries here and we will try to get to them all. My question is what will they be performing in their live set in LA in July? Will it include both "High Energy" and "Come Into My Life," my two favorite post-Diane Supremes songs?

Hi John,

Someone asked me if I was seasick since I looked so Green today but I explained my color was caused by envy at the quality time you get to spend with two Supreme Supremes this evening....

Really looking forward to hearing the story of this classic album and perhaps you can find out for me from Scherrie & Susaye what's the best remedy to get rid of goosebumps because their vocals on Another Life From Now and When The Day Comes Every Night cause them every time I listen!

I'll be listening. Hello Scherrie and Susaye. I met Scherrie a few years ago in Atlanta after their performance at the Tabernacle for a benefit. I got the opportunity to get in the limo with Scherrie and Freddi. I spent about 5 minutes with them. My day was satisfied after meeting Scherrie.

In an pre-wardrobe-malfunction era, when you appeared with Mary on Soul Train to lipsynch to 'You're My Driving Wheel", it appeared that with the dance movements that there was about to be an unplanned major revelation especially with you, Scherrie & Susaye with your fantastic figures. Do you remember that performance and were you aware of the possibility that those outfits might fail you?

How many master tapes were you hoping to 'Borrow' from the vaults that day? Only those three or others? It's a shame that your 'lookout' Supreme partner never showed up to distract dear Andy. I see that he's holding on to you for dear life, trying to prevent your escape and probably threatening to contact the police.
But it was clever and so resourceful of you to talk him out of contacting the authorities by singing "Love I Never Knew You Could Feel So Good" personally to him. That turned the tables and he was putty in your arms.
And we all know that Scherrie didn't mind your taking over the lead in that emergency situation!

Lulu, in Itunes does it create a playlist with playlist.pls as a "song," in the playlist, after which you simple right click and indicate "play stream?" I'm trying that but it's not working that way for me.

Johnny's posting of his extended instrumental mix of "Love I Didn't Know You Could Feel So Good" with the initial picture of Susaye clutching Motown master tapes and Andy Skurow holding on for dear life to Susaye must have jogged Andy's memory.
Although I do think sending 30 police cars after you is a bit of overkill, don't you?
How many tapes did you 'Borrow'?

Tried Windows Media Player and Real Player on my computer. Can't connect.

I've never had problems listening to these shows before. I guess it's just not meant to be.

Okay, that did work for me. I can hear it now. The girls are quite faint but I suppose that's the transmission, not a problem with the playlist stream.
