And according to DFTMC, "Love Is Like A Heatwave" was finished on June 24, 1966.
So, both recording dates are incorrectly listed. None of us is perfect and the listing can easily be altered by Stone Diamond, who does exceptional work.

This album and "Where Did Our Love Go" are tied as my favorite Supremes album. I have both the mono and stereo version for the "Sing HDH" album because the differences are very noticeable. I was hoping for this album to get the deluxe treatment/be released next instead of the "Funny Girl" album but oh well beggers can't be choosers I guess.

It's a typo, sorry about that, I've just corrected it on all the screens.

Thanks for that:-) I don't have a proof reader, and all the annotations were for my own personal reference, until I started uploading to flicker. I'll double check in future.

On the stereo version a lot of the background vocals are lowered on a lot of the songs and several songs have additional vocals from the Andantes whereas the mono version features just Flo and Mary and Diana's lead vocal on "Love Is In Our Hearts" is different. I prefer the mono version of this album.

thanks Floyjoy. have to see if I have the mono version, but I think its stereo. I know one of the tracks has additional backing vocals on GOING DOWN FOR THE THIRD TIME. I prefer the mono version

cant wait until we get an expanded deluxe version. love this album but I think SAME OLD SONG and HEATWAVE are a bit watered down. guess they were trying to make it more pop sounding but I like when the supremes get funky......

"Same Old Song" and "Heatwave" also have additional background vocals by the Andantes on the stereo version as well. "Remove This Doubt" has alternate background vocals from Flo and Mary. As much as I love this album "Same Old Song" and "Heatwave" are definitely the weak points of the album. I LOOOOVE "Love Is In Our Hearts" and "Mother You, Smother You" the mono versions of course.

Just curious.... Are you saying that the stereo versions are not available on any CD?
