    A Tear From A Woman's Eyes

As with some unreleased Motown recordings I can not believe this song was left in he can. Great song! H-D-H at one of their best :-)

One of the few H.D.H. songs that they recorded in their classic days. Only "Just One Last Look" and "I`m Ready For Love " come to mind.

I've heard this was one of the songs considered for a single release, but they went with "The Way You Do The Things You Do" instead.

Yes. But how did they completely forget about it, afterward? Smokey became their producer, and pushed his songs. And then, Norman Whitfield took over. But, "My Baby" wasn't all that great. I'd have popped it in, sometime. It's at least tied for my favourite Temptations' song, along with "My Girl" and "Since I Lost My Baby".

This list is by no means complete, but here are a few songs that HDH wrote for artists other than the ones mentioned:

Marvin Gaye - "Can I Get A Witness", "You're A Wonderful One", "How Sweet It Is [[To Be Loved By You)", "Baby Don't You Do It", "Little Darling [[I Need You)", "Your Unchanging Love".

Kim Weston - "Helpless", "Take Me In Your Arms [[Rock Me A Little While".

The Elgins - "Darling Baby", "Put Yourself In My Place", "Heaven Must Have Sent You", "I Understand My Man".

Junior Walker & the All Stars - "[[I'm A) Road Runner", "Nothing But Soul".

ATFAWE to my ears is a great song! HDH had no way of knowing what they would become as writers,or producers, so I sense a little finding of ones way here. With a little more TLC this could have been a hit.
