This sounds like a fun stroll down memory lane... your favorites? LOVE this commercial back then, and still do today. I miss those puffy hats!

Good one. Don't remember seeing that particular one but do remember the "Have it your way" campaign.
I remember these two that were broadcast in the mid 1980's, using familiar tunes!

Bradburger, is that a commercial from across the pond?
Yes mr_june, they were both UK only commercials.
Apparently [[for you US folks), Cool Whip used a melody based on parts of the Cool Jerk for one of their US adverts.

They certainly did, Paul, for not just one but several commercials.
Here's another: not long ago, Dannon Yogurt used "Groove Me" by King Floyd in an ad.
Best,
Mark
in the UK we also remember some classic Northern Soul tracks being used to advertise Felix cat food & KFC!!!
This is one that immediately springs to mind ..

OJAYS TIME TO GET DOWN......................
My favorite was the BK commercial that used The Miracles singing "More, More, More Of Your Love" - that was pretty cool when most radio stations wouldn't play the song on the radio outside of Philly and Jersey.
Incidentally, those Kentucky Fried Chicken pot pies are DAMN GOOD!
There is a new LeBron James commercial with soul music in the background; it sounds like the Intruders, but I am not sure. I know I've heard the lead singer before...does anyone know who the singer/group is?
Edwin Starr Chic and some other stuff new 2014 Nissan ad
Brenda And The Tabulations
Marvin Gaye Star Spangled Banner
