Lots of eye make up and hair over the eye for Diana and lots of drama by her at the conclusion of Somewhere
You could hear...
You Were On My Mind - We Five
Stop Whatever You're Doin, Hold it Right There - TCB
She’s a great entertainer but greatest is in the eye and ear of the beholder

Here's the list!
Desperado - Eagles
I think it will only be published after they stream the show 50 times.

How Long Has That Evening Train Been Gone - Diana Ross
Daddy Sang Bass - Johnny Cash
I pretty much agree. And it would change in a day or two.
I would never leave Endless Love or Ain't No Mountain High Enough by Diana or Grapevine by Gladys off a list. Glady's effort is much...
Best might imply more barometers of success like sales or chart position???? Who knows? Good point
But I love that they left off Glady's Grapevine, Endless Love and Ain't No Mountain High Enough by Diana. Those have so often topped these lists. And they didn't have What's Going On at #1 or...
That's a really good list!
Sunshine Superman - Donovan
Pretty generic disco without much of a hook to it; better than Red Hot but it wasn’t going to be a hit
1979 was 10 years too late for launching the solo career and using the Supremes as a...
