I bought the album in the late 70's and the CD last year. Always loved this album.

Great News. Always yearned for "Pocketful..." on CD. Great price £14.99 and my being in UK, no extortionate postage /tax/duty to make it unaffordable.

My favourite track, which doesn't seem to have been mentioned, is "You Move Me", for me the vocals and instrumentation are superb.

I have the vinyl but would also like on CD but it is a crazy...

Junior Walker And The All Stars, early 70's can't remember exactly when, The Hardrock Manchester. Absolutely fantastic. 2 drummers, one of which Junior's son.
Sadly only Motown act I ever saw.

Always liked this song and particularly liked the unusual bass line. Didn't know it was a LA recording. Anyone know who the bass player was or likely to be?

The label states it was produced by Charles Chalmers which I would assume puts it with Hi / Royal Studios. I've listened to it on Youtube and it does seem to have the Royal Studios sound signature.

The muted, echoey, bits of track between tracks on The Four Tops "Nature Planned It" album. Always wondered why they did this. Don't think it adds anything worthwhile.

The classical style intro to The Isley's "Behind A Painted Smile" and also the solo drum roll at the end.

I always discounted these CD's as I have nearly all the tracks elsewhere on studio albums and compilations but came across an alternative version on Youtube of The Temptations' "I Wish It Would Rain"...

Whilst strictly not a gospel song, David Ruffin's "World Of Darkness" from his My Whole World Ended album has a distinct gospel feel to it.
