What the hell?
"State of shock" left me in a state of shock when i first heard it. Somebody somewhere must have thought it a good idea to duet Michael with Mick. Perhaps a decent song would have been a good...
Yes i was and it was absolute chaos!
Yes Sup Fan. I have painstakingly pointed out on numerous occasions why Ms Ross took something of a back seat in the 80's. She continued to work hard, but did not push herself to the brink of...
I did not realise Results tanked in the USA. It was quite big iñ the UK as i recall. Liza came over to do totp and other shows. I was with her for a couple of engagements which were eventful to say...
Sounds perfeçt to me. A glorious throwback to the 60's with some 80's gloss added to the mix.
Barry did a great job on this
The UK, Ireland and Australia certainly recognised a good tune when they...
I honestly do not know. I would expect the Japanese tracks to appear on the expanded editions, but i have no idea which of the three albums. I am beginning to despair they will never be released....
I have to disagree with you regarding her early-to-mid 90's recordings. She was in a very good place during this period and her personal happiness shines through on the quality of her vocals on Force...
No she did not. I am not aware of that interview. Maybe she was happy with the finished product. I honestly do not know. I was merely speculating.
He was huge in the UK. Numerous hit singles, top selling albums and regular arena tours that got televised on prime time tv. He was really embraced by the UK pop buying public, but i know he tended...
There is only reason why that did not happen carlo, and that is Miss Ross herself. Luther did everything in his power to persuade her to let him produce an album on her. He attended every night of a...
It could never be as good as Ella. These are watershed recordings that can never be equalled. I don't think Ms Ross would even consider undertaking such a project.
If she were to do a jazz album it...
She had been a workaholic for 20 years or so, and had achieved and indeed exceeded most of her ambitions. She was very comfortable financially thanks to the rca deal. Her family was growing up and...
I would be very surprised if she authorised it's release. She held it back because she was not happy with it, yet she was happy enough with fools and silk electric. That should tell you everything...
I used to travel to Japan regularly, and i always returned with dozens of cd s
All played perfectly. They are not regionally chipped the way dvd's are.
I shudder to think!
Yes it will.
She was referring to Berry Gordy when she mentioned great management. It was Mr Gordy who spotted, developed and perhaps exploited that unique talent.
I think Sade was quite popular in the UK. The albums sold well and there were a few hit singles too, but Miss Adu was not one who was comfortable in the spotlight and her desire for privacy perhaps...
Never given it much thought. I am not a big Sade fan but i agree Ms Ross could have done justice to the Sade back catalogue.
The live album is dreadful, but she did put in some fine performances during that tour. I saw most of the shows, and whilst they did vary in quality she was very good on most of the dates.
I'm no expert on perfumes i'm afraid. I am sure she used many brands. All i can say is she always smelled so gorgeous. It was always very subtle rather than overpowering.
I have no real problem with that but i am rather surprised and disappointed Miss Dionne Warwick is not higher up on the list.
She certainly did donate her fee to a Children's charityRoberta.
She always smells great!
Perfume is one of her great passions.
When she opened Harrods sale in London she forfeited her fee and just asked for some perfume samples!
