There's a rare Detroit album by a group called Target that came out on Sunshine Records in 1979. The cuts on You Tube suggest an excellent soul album that was recorded way before the official release...

Now know this band were from Columbus, Ohio and consisted of at least one former member of the Royal Squires, Kenny Latham.
