Boys and girls can we spell, TOUCHDOWN teehee.
Well that was enjoyable.;)
Congrats, Ms M!!!!!!! Nothing gives me greater joy than the Patriots losing!! And got their butts slapped by your Boyz.
Well, I'm glad I went to church instead of staying home to watch the Falcons game. We need a QB because Desmond Ridder's not figuring it out. And then, I wish I'd stayed at church instead of watching the Dolphins lay their egg. God must have known it because I watched it over Mom's house and the power went out for two hours and I was spared the pain of that loss.
We'll get back at it next week.
Thanks Moe, apparently it was the worse loss in Belichick's history. That and the win has put a big grin on my face.
Don't know what to say about the Dirty Byrd's Jerry but I have faith the Dolphins will bounce back.
Wow, I can't believe the Jets ALMOST beat the Chiefs. Zack Wilson looked pretty good. Made a few mistakes that cost him the game but damn, not bad.

The 2 - 1pm games I was able to see were Ravens/Browns & Bengals/Titans. Maybe that was a good omen that no one wanted me to see the Steelers self destruct.
I hope the right heads roll for this.
I feel ya Moe, I truly do but I would hate to see my fantasy husband's head rolling down the streets of Pittsburgh. :p
I think it goes even further, Ms M. The Rooneys bear some responsibility here, too. Canada needs to go, plain & simple. We're out of excuses, Coach. You're now on the hot seat for this [no matter what you think of Coach T, hahaha].
Kendrick Green was on X [Twitter] last evening giving it to all of Steeler Nation. If you remember the Steelers drafted him, tried to turn him into the replacement center [Pouncey retired], didn't do so well [he wasn't cut out for it], benched him, & then traded him to the Texans. He played & played extremely well. Gotta give credit to where credit is due.
You know what was my favorite play in your Boyz game? The point after that turned into a 2 point conversion. The Patriots used that very play before & the Cowboys knew this & used it against them. HAHAHA.....ain't it a bitch? And I could read Belicheat's reaction!! Even better!!
I heard Tomlin say that changes are being made, sans elaboration. That's the gist of what Atlanta coach Arthur Smith said as well. Fans are calling for Canada's head in Pittsburgh and fans are begging to give Taylor Heinecke a shot in Atlanta. We've seen him play better in relief for the Commoners than Ridder's currently playing, so why not?
Looks like after a week where Dallas took the only L among us, they're back to looking like world beaters and the rest of our teams are looking for answers. The NFL is a teeter totter of emotional swings every week.
I'm curious as to what your brother may say about Tomlin's comment, Jerry.
I'm going to the negative end of his comment & say "nothing will happen."
Or maybe a reshuffling of things, but essentially nothing.
I'm sure he'll tell me without my having to ask. I'll let you know after we talk.
"The NFL is a teeter totter of emotional swings every week."
AKA Any Given Sunday.....
It'll be interesting today to hear Tomlin's Press Conference today.
Falcons and Dolphins message boards both have a different tone this week than they had a week ago. I'm sure it's the same for the Steelers and [especially] for the Boyz on their forums. One week, the sky's the limit and the next, everybody wants to know who to draft with the first pick. It's only week 5, y'all.

I just heard Tomlin's press conference. Like I said......NOTHING! Telling us that the Steelers weren't physical enough, due to a short week....blah, blah, blah.
When Brooke Pryor, 1 of the local reporters asked Tomlin about how the offense played all he said was "Not Good Enough." Duh, we all know that. Pickett has a bone bruise, no word if he or Mitch T will play.
I think one of the best things we did was send Chase Claypool to the Bears. Now the Bears are sick of him.....perhaps trade or release? Bad attitude, immature, not a team player....for starters.
LOL, I know what you mean. I was pissed with my Boyz when they lost cause they did not play up to their potential but wasn't ready to throw anyone under the bus.
Sunday's game should be really interesting, not only because of our game but it's Faith in Blue Sunday and members from our local police department will be attending our church. One of them is a Niners fan and I'm seriously thinking about wearing my Boyz jersey. LOL
I can't even hear Chase Claypool's name without thinking about the Monday night game where the Steelers were in need of a play with time running out. He caught a pass for a first down and instead of lining up to spike the ball, he wasted time showboating, allowing time to tick off the clock when they were down by 8 points. Sounds like he hasn't matured much since then.

Well, it looks like somebody woke up Justin Fields just in time to play perhaps his best game against the Commoners tonight.
The entire team woke up. It was impressive to watch. Sorry Jai.
And Chase Claypool got traded from the Bears to the Dolphins for a sixth in 2024 & a seventh in 2025. With his attitude he needs to wake up. Best thing Steelers did was trade him.
Oof... Hope the brain trust knows what it's doing and is keeping an eye on the wife receiver room. This is a boom or bust move that I expect to bust. It's definitely Claypool's last stop in the NFL and he's only 25 years old.
LOL
I hope the "wife" receiver room was a typo and not a dig at something I don't know about.
LOL! I'm sure Dr. Freud could explain that apparent typo better than I can.

I should have known better, the curse of snyder is on this year's team...bad coaching, lazy players out of position..can't tackle..did you hear what rivera said after the philly game...[they were gassed] what the f..k....gassed??????? They're not too gassed to pick up that paycheck...that's on the coaches and conditioning, no pride in wanting to win...but did anyone see magic up in his box...this nosense ain't gonna go on much longer, of course i have to wait til next season but as sam cooke said...a change is gonna come...the guy you see with the burgundy and gold paper bag over his head is just me...i'm out!!!!
Four weeks have passed. Nobody's out. Fasten your seatbelts. It's going to be a bumpy night.
HEY JERRY, YOUR DIRTY BURDS ARE GONNA[POOP]ALL OVER US NEXT SUNDAY..I HOPE THEY BEAT US[75-0]WHY BECAUSE THE COMMANDERS ARE LAZY AND THE SO-CALLED[COACHING]IS NON EXISTING..[sorry mutherf..ers]PLEASE EXCUSE MY LANGUAGE BUT I'M SICK OF THIS CRAP...AAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHHHHHEEEEPPPAAAHHHGGGGGGG GGGGGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...D-A-M-N...MY DEAR MS M-MY APOLOGIES FOR ALL THAT BRAVADO I DID AT THE BEGINNING REGARDING YOUR COWBOYZ VS. THE COMMANDERS...WHEN WE PLAY ON THANKSGIVING, YA'LL ARE GONNA BEAT OUR BRAIN OUT..I'M CALLING IT NOW...COWBOYS 45-COMMANDERS 14...YES I'VE GIVEN UP ON THIS SORRY NO GOOD BUNCH...SEASON OVER...I'M OUT!!!
I'm with Jerry on this one Jai. I wouldn't give up on the Commanders just yet. It's too early but I'll gladly take the win on Turkey day. The Commanders played an impressive game against the Eagles [albeit the loss] so they have it to give. As far as Magic goes, he only owns a small fraction of the team so he doesn't have that much sway. The only reason he's getting press is because he's MAGIC JOHNSON!
On another note, I've been watching "Quarterback" on Netflix and it's pretty interesting. I've always liked Mahomes, didn't really know that much about Mariota until now, and although I'm still not a fan of Cousins I must admit I have a new found respect for him. With that said though, my fave part in the documentary so far is the 40-3 whipping the Vikings received by my BOYZ after beating the Bills [in a really good game] the week before. HAHAHAHA
I don't expect much out of the Steelers tomorrow. There's a lot of the players who are out due to injury. I'll be traveling tomorrow, but I have it set to record the game.
The game I really want to see is yours, Ms M. I should make it up North by the time that starts. That should be a good one!!!!!!
Any given Sunday Moe. I'll be pulling for ya.
I REALLY want to see our game too. :D It will definitely be interesting for sure!!!!!
Safe travels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm an hour and a half before the Lions game. If they beat the Panthers today they will be 4 and 1 and I'm going to really start believing.
Good luck today everyone, unless you're a Niners fan. Teehee
I'm starting to smile.......
Lol, you have every reason to smile Ralph. Congrats to you and Moe. You too Jerry [x2].
Who would’ve thought? I managed to see the game. I’m thrilled Joey Porter, Jr got his first official pick!! And 2 more sacks for Watt! A real sigh of relief!
Ok Ms M you’re next.
Told ya Moe, LOL
I'm still waiting all day for Sunday Night. Let's see how it all plays out!!!
Yes, you’re right. You did tell me!;)
It's a good week for everybody but Jai. Atlanta, Miami, Detroit, and Pittsburgh all came through. All that's left is for Dallas to check in tonight and we can have a [mostly] calm week on this thread.
Your defense definitely came up big today. I texted my brother that the incompletion in the corner of the end zone in the third quarter was a defensive pass interference and he didn't even know what I was talking about. The next pass was incomplete and you kicked a field goal, but the game should have been out of reach early in the fourth if the refs weren't reffing.
