Congrats, ms_m. That defense is no joke and Dallas is going to make noise before all is said and done. Can't wait to see them play the Iggles.
Thanks Jerry. I'm a happy camper.;)
Congratulations Ms M!!!! Your Boyz played well!!!
Thanks Moe. They need to clean up the penalties that they can't blame on anyone but themselves...but other than that, I very much enjoyed it! LOL
Ms M & Jerry, did either of you see that questionable catch by Patriot's Hunter Henry in last night's game? If so, catch or not?
Moe to be honest I had the game on but wasn't giving it my full attention. {Didn't really care who won}. I did go back and look at the catch though and to me it looked as if it hit the ground on the line {not the grass}, so I agree with the call.
That's what it looked like to me.
It seemed like he would have been given the benefit of the doubt if the ball didn't pop loose from his hand after hitting the ground. The ball can touch the ground if it's in the grip of the player, but when it came loose it was because of contact with the turf. If I was a Vikes fan, I wouldn't complain if he got the score but I also wouldn't complain about the overrule if I was a Pats fan. I guess they got it right.
And since I'm a Steelers fan it's a repeat of Jesse James & did/didn't catch the ball.
Your brother might have an opinion, Jerry.
LOL. I bowled with him today. He remembers grievances that go back for decades. Kind of like *ahem* me.
Hey moe,it's hard to watch the steelers these day cause i'm used to them winning, but every one has to rebuild at some point..ms m as much as i hate to type this your[boyz] are on a roll and the[nfc]may be there's for the taking..i don't trust the eagles or san fran and the vikings are scared to death of ya'll so my dear ms m you may have to pack for a trip to the super bowl!!
He's over the top. Steelers bowling ball. Steelers bowling towel. Steelers phone case. Of course, he shows up in a Steelers cap with a Steelers jacket over a jersey or tee shirt. I haven't been over his house since he moved here, but I'm sure his man cave is one to write home about. I'll bet my last dollar he has at least one pair of Steelers boxers in his dresser drawers. And dang if the Steelers aren't Columbus' second favorite NFL team to the Browns, so he's saving money by not having to buy Sunday Ticket [I gave him a bootleg app on his FIrestick to watch the handful of games that aren't broadcast here]. I'm surprised he hasn't attended at least two games since he relocated, being within four hours of Cleveland, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Detroit and Indianapolis, there are plenty of opportunities to catch up with them live.
Well, Michigan showed up to play, Ohio State not so much. What can anyone say?
Jerry, your brother is a sharp dressed man!:cool::cool:
If that's another name for "goof", then I'd suggest you're right.

He speaks highly of you, too!! HAHAHA!
Hah! He knows I love him.
Looks like you guys have Matty Ice and Jeff Saturday tomorrow night. Should make for a stress-free Sunday afternoon for you and my big brother.
Yes, thank God!
I see where the Steelers/Local Pittsburgh TV Station reporter Bob Pompeani was being very critical of Michigan's team taking & planting their M Flag in the middle of Ohio State's midfield.
Twitter told him opinions like: "it's a huge rivalry" to "hey, all they had to do was win & it wouldn't have happened."
Hello my peeps, are we ready for some football?
Moe you and I get to chill today. Yoohoo! Jerry I think the Dolphins will be ok and Jai, I love ya dearly but I'm going with the Dirty Birds.:p
Wow Jerry, just wow!
...but the Bucs lost and the Dolphins came through!
Saw the OT part of the Bucs-Browns game. Brady is getting slower.
Sorry about the Falcons, Jerry but congrats on the Dolphins.
Bad day for both of my teams. Falcons are a top-5 rushing team and passed on 2nd and goal from the one-yard line. Of course, Marcus Mariota threw an interception to lose a game where winning was low hanging fruit.
And Miami had a 30-0 lead over the Texans and Houston figured something out in the second half where they rushed Tua so viciously that Coach pulled him from the game to keep him safe. Never saw that happen before. Simultaneously, the defense became passive and Houston marched down the field three times to score 15 points. It honestly seemed as if the 1-10 Texans were going to win the game at one point.
Suffice it to say, the Dolphins and Falcons message boards are extremely toxic places to be right now. Glad I'm off of Twitter because I know it's a mess.
Maybe I'm crazy and I don't bet or play fantasy FB but at the end of the day...a W at the end is a WIN....SHRUGS
I couldn't care less about the fantasy impact; I don't want Tua to be injured.
And you're correct, a W is a W and I'm happy to be 8-3. Unfortunately, the lowly Texans may have written the book on how to stop the previously unstoppable Dolphins offense a week before we play the Niners to begin a tough three game road trip. Houston bucked up right after our starting left tackle left the game with injury and if he can't play next week [or beyond], we've got a tough row to hoe. I'm excited for it. I think the upset fans are considering the implications of having a potential MVP playing behind a line full of turnstiles. No bueno.
I get what you're saying but I'm guessing the Dolphins will watch game film and {hopefully} make adjustments accordingly. One can hope especially since I would love to see them knock the Niners off their winning streak!
The players admit it's hard to maintain momentum coming off of a bye week. I'm confident they'll play well next week. It'll be fun watching Mike McDaniel and Kyle Shanahan play in their first game together. Hopefully, the student will teach his instructor a few things. Hopefully it will be the game broadcast in my area so I don't have to bootleg it.
That was more entertaining than I expected. Congrats Moe!
Thanks Ms M. Have the game taped [[fell asleep & out of town). Will watch it when I get back. Looks like we’re playing Jerry’s team next?
Indeed, you are. Took an L from Jai's team last week and now we face your team. Falcons Nation is ready to implode, so let's see what kind of effort they put forth against the Steelers.
HEY JERRY, YOU ALL ACTUALLY TRIED TO WIN SUNDAY, SCARED ME TO DEATH BUT I'LL TAKE IT BUT DIDN'T I WARN YOU ABOUT OUR DEFENSE? IF WE GET IN AT SEVEN WE'LL MORE THAN LIKELY PLAY THE VIKINGS....THEY DON'T WANNA SEE US AGAIN[yes I said it and I'm sober...I think!!]MY DEAR MS M, YA'LL DON'T PLAY ANYBODY TIL THE EAGLES...BUT DON'T LOOK PAST THE JAGS A YOUNG TEAM ON THE RISE!!
Jai I'm not looking past any of the next six teams we play and I'm hoping the Boyz don't either. Ya just never know how it will all play out until it's over and unfortunately, I KNOW THAT all too well!!!!!!
As always I'm neutral on this one!:pQuote:
Looks like we’re playing Jerry’s team next?
Of course you are, Ms M!:D
Well, I can't speak for her, but I am certainly NOT going to be neutral. If I had my choice, the Falcons would hang 50 points on the Steelers...
...in the first half. And another 45 in the second half, while allowing zero points in the game. I won't complain if it's actually something like 93-6, but I'll probably complain about the 6. But I might be biased.
With that said, the two words that let me know that's not a likely result are "Marcus" and "Mariota". He's not bad, but he's been one step forward and a step and a half backwards all season long. Looking forward to next season when the rebuild's further along.

I really hadn't planned on watching the game tonight until my pastor mentioned what a pivotal game this was going to be. Once I looked into it, I realized the Pats need to win to keep the Bills off your back Jerry Oz. Geeze Louise I can't believe I'll be pulling for the Pats and their Gomer Pyle walking QB.
I had to think about who I wanted to win and even though I hate the Patriots, I'd love for Buffalo to be nervous about being in second place. They're not looking like the world beaters they were considered in the preseason. I would love to see them fade over the last six weeks.
Things just got real for the Dolphins but...:)
WELL HERE GOES, I'M ACTUALLY PICKING THE COMMANDERS BY ONE[if heinicke throws a costly pick, I'll kidnap him and make him eat leftovers from grady's pantry..even the buzzards don't eat that stuff, hehe]GO COMMANDERS!!
