Joyce McRae Moore

I'm curious if anyone knows the story behind Joyce McRae [[Moore). I was previously aware of her marriage to Sam Moore, she was involved with Mary Wells shortly before her death, along with Billy Preston, and I saw a documentary about her involvement with Jackie Wilson during his final years in his coma. Is she an advocate for ailing soul singers or some kind of Angel of death?

She was trying to help singers and advocate for their rights. She has been praised for her efforts on behalf of Ms Wells.
