It is a nice photo. I read that they became friendly while touring together in the 60s.

I've read they were friends as well. Is that true John Lester?
When I talked with Cal at Diana's concert in Grand Rapids, MI in July of 2019, Diana had given Cal and Bertha tickets to the show.... that tells me they must still be connected some!!

Many and most of them are so glad they were there and are friends - only people with an axe to grind suggest otherwise
Marv, that’s a fabulous pic of the three year of them!
I believe I read in Ladies of Motown that One of the Velvelettes interviewed for Flo’s spot but Diana didn’t like her.

Here's another fun fact. Richard Street [[of The Temptations) was Diana Ross's boyfriend when they were in school. Cal married Richard later on. Richard Street's cousin and I were on the basketball team together in high school.Quote:
