I use to love watching the Monkees on television on Saturdays as a kid. They were funny ,but also made some really good music. Rest in peace Peter Tork. Thanks man.

The Monkees will always be a reminder of Saturday mornings back in the day. Their TV show was light and innocent fun just like Gilligan's Island. And I also liked enough of their songs to call them a good group. Sad to see any of them pass away.
