A rather perfunctory performance of the song me thinks. No Diana, no magic.
Was amazing to hear the difference between this and Diana's version.
My head kind of immediately went - THAT'S why she was so successful.
Diana owns this song period but to be fair to Joyce...I think the song is rushed not giving her the freedom to really sing it. I've heard her do this before .
Yes, this has been posted before but it's worth repeating as it shows the difference between a good singer and a great performer and who winds up where on the totem pole of show biz.
Only Diana could do a song like that. She was made for songs like this, not Joyce or anyone else for that matter.
