Another one with that Chic sound, from British group Delegation.

General Johnson and "Can't Nobody Love Me Like You Do", definitely has something of the Chic about it. Interestingly it's from 1976 which predates Chic! :)

This We Are Family album closing number should have made it's way to radio. Great track and a rare Kim Sledge lead, "One More time" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbSc-2IzXzM
40 Years, and Warner has nothing but a version of the album available with the single version of the song? I have to contact Warner Music about this. Good thing I bought the original LP and CD, but for anyone wanting the album today is getting shortchanged.
Here's a bit of trivia: the Chic song "I Want Your Love" was originally supposed to have been a Sister Sledge track, as both albums "C'est Chic" and "We Are Family" were being recorded simultaneously.
Also, Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers fed Kathy Sledge her lines one by one as they were recording. That was to control her phrasing. That was a lot of punching-in and wear on the tape that must have driven the engineer crazy.
