It was like a spectacle. It was at the Masonic Temple in Detroit a few weeks before Christmas. Our seats were excellent. Aretha was every bit the Queen of music that night singing everything from the 60s to the late 80s. She talked quite a bit and ad lib for the hometown audience. She only did one song at the piano. I especially enjoyed "Jimmy Lee" and her solo version of " I Knew You Were Waiting for Me".Quote:
