Here is a song that I used to love listening to. I used to sing the boy and girl parts when I was in my car alone... But I've received therapy and I'm much better now! The leads on this went on to become Aurra and then Deja.

I sing this one too... That's Syreeta singing along with Jermaine Jackson.

And to prove that I'm absolutely nuts, I also used to sing this one to myself as well. My soprano voice is much better than it needs to be... Phillip Bailey and Deneice Williams.

Wild Night with Dr Marta Reeves and John Mellencamp should have been release as a single its would have hit the top of the charts. It start at the 5.06 minutes.

Jerry Oz, great song [[Syretta & Jermaine). It always takes this site to remind me that once upon a time Jermaine was a great artist with some quality music. With all of his antics over the last decade or so, I often forget.
QUEEN ARETHA & ERIC ROBINSON'S "I WASMADE FOR YOU" [[wish the sound quality was better) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzGS0MsuyZU

Here's a couple of duets that flew under the radar;
Syreeta & G.C. Cameron-"I Wanna Be By Your Side"
Billy Preston & Syreeta-"Fancy Lady"
Rotary Connection [[featuring Minnie Ripperton & Sidney Barnes)-"Respect"

Let It Be Me is a classic! I also like Glass House [[w/Scherrie Payne) If It Ain't Love, It Don't Matter
This song was slept on in the 90's LISA FISCHER &
CHRIS WALKER https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWIlYm582pY
Stephanie Mills and Teddy Pendergrass - "Two Hearts"

I would like to added "We got a thing going on" Ben E. King & Dee Dee Sharp with The Sweet Inspirations, it is such an amazing, sophisticated soul duet with a lot of positive energy !
My pick also, along with:
Johnny Mathis & Angela Bofill's Your A Special Part of Me."
By the way, I never figured how you post a Youtube video here like the ones above and in other threads. I can post a link but want to be like every one else on this matter [[lol).
All of these are great. But the platinum standard of duets is Luther Vandross and Cheryl Lynn "If This World Were Mine." It is soulful magic. But perhaps it is not here because it is not truly "underrated." It charted top 5 R&B and is a perennial at R&B radio.
Here they are singing it live on Soul Train -- one of the rare live vocals on that program.

And here is Salah Ananse's smokin' hot house interpolation of Luther and Cheryl for your July 4th cookout

Summer Anthem - Eric Roberson, ft. Chubb Rock [[ love the shout out he gives to Big Willy's, Summer Madness)
I think the combo of Billy Davis and Marilyn McCoo is underrated. They recorded some really nice tunes. Also Stacy Lattisaw and Johnny Gill.
