Supposedly this album was reissued in 1966 in stereo. Has anyone ever seen one? I’ve only ever seen this album in mono from 1964. Just wondering as a collector. Thanks

I cannot see any mention anywhere so far of a stereo release BUT it was prepared and mixed for release in stereo so maybe it has appeared somewhere or maybe the powers that be decided against it after the mix was done.Quote:

Thank you to everyone for responding. The closest I can get on vinyl is a Street Corner Records reissue in stereo which is fantastic by the way. However, I prefer the originals when I can get them.

The main difference I detect from the stereo and mono mixes is on He's The One I Love where the violins are brought forward. Clearly this was being considered for single release.
In 1965 the album was re-issued in the UK on Tamla Motown re-titled as "My Baby Just Cares For Me". This was still in mono.
