Truly sorry to hear about Sonny Turner! Rest In Peace & Music.
He will be remembered for the great With This Ring, a true Motown sounding song, by in large due to the Funk Brothers backing him up. Saw him a few years ago on the Malt Shop Cruise, still sounded great.
I always thought if you listen to his vocal on "With This Ring" he really sounds close to a "Baby I Need Your Loving" Levi.
