I had lowered all hope for a conviction. Thought that maybe they'd get him on the lowest count and acquit him on the most serious. I literally teared up when the decision was read but won't consider this to be justice. It's only accountability and that'll have to do.

Were all on the same page with police reform and accountability. No one deserves the lack of dignity that happened. Bad policing is the issue here regardless of race. We need to treat the victim as a human being first and foremost.
