I like this question; however, before I think too much...is there going to be a right/correct answer for this? Will other answers be deemed as wrong? Temptations forever!

Taking a crack at this; is it that except for Paul Williams, none of the original members of the group were natural dancers [and they had to learn to do those dance steps they did from Williams, choreographer Cholly Atkins & others] ?
That when as a five part group they auditioned for Berry Gordy they were called The Elgins not The Temptations. Berry changed their name to The Temptations to avoid confusion with a different Elgins group. Arr&bee?
